Thomas Schröck - JAKAY's e-Fin SUP & Kayak

Thomas Schröck - JAKAY's e-Fin SUP & Kayak

I've had the e-Fin for about two years. I use it for my SUP and also for my Nortik Scubi 1 xl hybrid kayak. I've e-Fin a mount for the e-Fin to this inflatable and therefore easily transportable kayak so that I can take it on longer trips. It works great and the fin takes up very little space in my luggage. It also saves you from having to carry a cable and extra batteries, as is the case with many other electric drives for boats or SUPs. The additional function, which only provides assistance when you paddle, is a really great and, I believe, unique idea from Jaykay. It's like riding an e-bike. The performance is good for SUPs and also for my kayak. Es not a racing boat, but that's not the purpose. The range could be a little longer, but with a larger battery, the maneuverability would no longer be as good. I paddle with the kayak, let it ride with the e-Fin time to time to enjoy the surroundings, and have es expanded es to sailing.  The e-Fin an enrichment to this multi-purpose boat, even when sailing and in decreasing winds. Es once a problem with the e-Fin Jaykay replaced the fin without any problems. That would usually be a problem with some other suppliers from C... etc. Better to pay more for good quality and accessible service.

A purchase is recommended.

P.S. I'm currently building a holder for the e-Fin my beach catamaran. At the end of April, I'll be testing it in the sea in the south of France. The goal is to be able to return in calm conditions or to reach land more easily in difficult harbor situations (wind/many surfers, etc.) with the "emergency drive." If es Bluetooth connection works, I can send it to you.
