Travel experience – Norway
At the end of August, we went on a little road trip in Norway to enjoy the vast and unique landscapes of this stunning country.
Norway offers some of the best roads with very little traffic, especially when travelling in the countryside. These empty roads are perfect for endless cruising.
Our trip started in the south, passing the serpentines to get to the plateau between Geiranger and Eidsdal. Then we continued on the Atlantic Ocean Road “Atlanterhavsveien” crossing the Storseisundet Bridge. In the beautiful Rondane Nasjonalpark we took advantage of the empty road and cruised around going up and down the mountains.
After that we made a quick stop at the modern dwellings of Mortsund between Lofoten and Vesterålen to capture a relaxing sunset. From Andenes we headed back to Sortland where our roadtrip ended.
During the whole journey, there was no need to be afraid of the police, since electric longboards are legal in Norway when driving at the permitted speed limit of 20 km/h. The vehicle must be equipped with head and back lights, reflectors, a certain brake force and a horn. However, exceptions can be made if it is not possible to integrate this equipment into the vehicle.
We highly recommend Norway as a travel destination for the perfect road trip and we are definitely coming back!
